1. We cleared two ruins
The land has multiple ruins on it, and they were totally overgrown. We cleared and measured them to see what condition they are in and what we could do with them.
2. We setup basic infrastructure
The goal of the first year was to set up a "Basekamp". We used two shipping containers, each allowing us to house some basic infrastructure such as water, electricity, kitchen, shower etc. And, we made a roof from recycled plastic sheets.
3. We made local friends
Whilst working on the land we got in touch with our lovely neighbors. All over 60 year old Portuguese people driving around on tractors harvesting their vegetables. They are curious to what this will become and have been a great help so far!
