We bought this type of trailer to test if we can use the already built-in insulation. A way more risky and experimental approach, but with a lot of possibilities to learn and test. It was a lot of work, but in return it saved many construction materials. All materials used and even the furniture are reclaimed, recycled or reused.

The veranda and roof is a new dry space in front of the building. This prevents dirt and humidity from getting inside and makes it more pleasant to go inside on rainy days. Also, it creates shade and makes the place a bit cooler.

We build a big metal roof on top of the workspace container, for more dry space and sun protection. A massive upgrade!

This second toilet has some small upgrades compared to the first one. And, we improved our already existing composting system, with which we turn our human "waste" into soil again.

With more people working on the land, our need for a proper kitchen compost was getting bigger. We researched a bit and improved our existing setup, and since then keep on monitoring and tweaking it.
